I'm just
an ordinary kinda girl, so when I got asked out to a very expensive restaurant
by a guy who in my opinion was too good for me, I should have known it wasn't
going to go to plan. I'd arrived early and been sat at the candlelit table sipping
some champagne, already ordered by Mark. I stared at my watch and waited..and
waited, forty minutes later I was still waiting. People were looking at me I
could tell, feeling their stares I decided a rescue to the toilet was needed.
Wondering past tables gazing at happy couples I was seriously considering just
going home. Mark hadn't even rung and in trying his mobile I found it to be
switched off. Eventually seeing the doors which lead to the toilets I quickened
my pace and hurried through. In all my haste I managed to smack the door straight
into somebody.
Oh Christ I'm sorry, the male jumped backwards and now stared wide eyed at me.
No, it's ok no harm done, please come through, holding the door I carefully made my way past him.
I am sorry thankyou, trying to smile and not seem too embarrassed was proving tricky for me so I avoided his eye and wandered into the ladies.Sitting on the toilet I sunk my head in my hands this evening was going from bad to worse, taking a deep sigh I stood up and sorted myself out.Heading back to my table I saw it was still vacant, stopping to avoid a near fatal crash with a trolley cart filled with dessert I glanced down at the nearby table and saw the man from earlier smirking up at me. I gulped a hi, feeling embarrassment engulf my body once again.
You're quite lethal tonight first me then the trolley guy?
Its the champagne I'm not usually so clumsy, he smiled his face was ever so faintly recognisable but I couldn't place a name to it.I believe you thousands wouldn't, he glanced over at the empty walkway that had now emerged.
Err I'll leave you to it I am sorry about before have a good evening, I managed a grin and scurried off to sit again at the empty table.
I decided to wait another half an hour till nine then that was it I was off to the nearest friends house to drown my sorrows! Sighing at my empty wine glass a dreary twenty minutes later a waiter approached me with a bottle of champagne, beginning to pour into my glass I gazed bemused at him.Err I'm sorry but I didn't order this.
The gentleman on table six ordered it for you.
Table six where is that, I asked scanning the room intrigued by this expensive offering. The waiter grinning nodded me in the right direction, turning I saw the table to be empty.
But there's no one there, my face lowered great even a stranger didn't want to spend an evening with me.
Look could I just have the bill please I think I'd just like to leave, the waiter looked disappointingly towards me.
The bills already been took care of miss, I could put a cork in the champagne if you like its a good bottle be a shame to leave it here, his words washed over me I just nodded and waited a few moments for him to return with my coat and bottle.
I'm sorry your evening here could not have been a better one, I smiled and stood as he carefully placed my coat around me.
Thank you for your assistance and I'm sorry about before I wasn't looking where I was going.
The waiter smirked, hope to see you again soon Miss Taylor, picking up my bottle I said my goodbyes and left.
The cold winter night froze against my cheeks wandering up the street I went in search for the nearest taxi. Cars whizzed their way past me but no black cabs in sight, I mean this was London for Christ sake the capital of black cabs! Making my way around another corner I heard what sounded like a large hustle of men in trying to avoid them I attempted to cross the road. Stepping out onto the sidewalk I came face to face with another group of people, not seeing them in time I crashed into one of them sending myself and bottle flying.
Landing on a heap on the floor is bad enough, landing on a heap on a London sidewalk with a whole bunch of strangers staring down at you is just plain awful!!
Oh shit are you ok, a male voice knelt down beside me, wiping my hair away from my face my eyes froze as did his.
Ok this is getting freaky twice in one night? I gulped and continued to stare motionless in his direction.
Look lets get you up it's wet on the floor, placing an arm around me he pulled me up to my feet. The other members of the group were all staring with the same bemused expression I vaguely remembered them from the restaurant, but couldn't quite believe I'd managed to embarrass myself in front of them again.
Here you dropped this, a female companion handed me back a remarkably unbroken bottle of champagne. Thank you, I released from his grip and took back the bottle... I was trying to find a cab is there a particular street I should aim for? I gazed around the huddle for a reply.
Look we're all heading for a cab you might as well follow us, the group wandered on ahead leaving me and the mystery guy in tow.
I am sorry about before, he smirked.
Which time?
The last ok both times I can normally walk unaided, he continued to grin at me.
Just not tonight hey.
It would seem so.
We walked in silence for a few moments it wasn't awkward but the prolonged staring was a little disconcerting for me.
Quick grab my arm there's a step coming up, he held out his arm to which I immediately threaded my own through.
Thought it best to be cautious knowing your record for tonight, I chuckled at his remarks.
I'm Eddie by the way, he held out his other hand to shake mine.
Molly nice to meet you.
So your date was a no show then, he questioned filling the silence swiftly.
It was that obvious, I moaned.
I just remember you sitting on your own at the restaurant.
Yeah he was a no show not even a phone call of explanation, Eddie gazed at me shocked.
Really what a bastard well don't you go calling him.
Oh I certainly won't he's already deleted from the mobile, he stood opposite me smirking we had reached some cabs and his friends were already poised to get in one.
So where you headed, he asked.
Well, I thought I'd go drown my sorrows at a friends in Notting Hill..his eyes widened.
You know it?
I live there!
Really wow this is weird.
Do you wanna share a cab, we both said it at the same time, grinning he turned to his pals.
We're gonna share a cab ok but I'll catch up with you tomorrow, he kissed them all goodbye and watched them leave in the nearest cab.Opening the door for me I sat down, Eddie gave his address and turned to ask for mine.
Where you going?
Livingtons Avenue, he relayed it to the cab driver then sat close next to me.
So where you from, he asked resting out his arm on the back seat.
Originally from Norfolk I just moved here for my work.Ah so you're a country girl at heart.
Yes hence wandering aimlessly for cabs earlier, he grinned.Well that's ok then I thought you were just drunk but if you didn't actually know where you were going all is forgiven, I giggled somewhat nervously.
You're quite the comedian aren't you, he smiled.
Yeah it's been said, the cab driver started to chuckle I wasn't sure if it was my borderline sarcasm or something I had just completely missed.
So you gonna open that when you get to your friends? He looked down at the champagne.
Yeah I thought I would.
It's a good bottle you should chill it first it's always better that little bit cooler.
I will do thanks for the tip.
No problem, we continued to gaze at each other like naughty children, making small talk until that cab driver pulled into Livingtons Avenue. Here we are love, switching on the inside light the driver started to fiddle about with his machine to sort out the fare.
Pulling out my purse I handed over a twenty you can keep the change, (not that there was much to be had but it all helped I suppose).
No let me, Eddie quickly searched through his pockets for change.
No no trust me I'd still be searching for a cab if it wasn't for you, he grinned and held open the door for me to get out.
I think I'll hop out here too I only live across the street... we both got out ... might as well walk you to your door.
Blimey he's funny and a gentleman and he didn't even have to buy me dinner. It's impressive he mocked pulling a face.
Very impressive for a girl who earlier on had nearly knocked you out.
This is true shall we, ushering me up the road we strolled on slowly, both unconsciously not wanting to reach the final destination.
Thanks for helping me out tonight.
Thanks for bumping into me, I started to laugh.
You know you can't use that line again right?
Yes, it's done and dusted anything more would just be overkill, I continued to smirk.
I dunno about overkill but I would certainly kill you, his laughter filled the air.As long as you don't overkill me?
Ok deal, his intermittent chuckles floated around me.. Well, we're here, we stopped outside my friends house, which huge stature never ceased to amaze me.
Very nice, added Eddie admiring it's beauty.
Oh god I hope she's in? A sudden panic engulfed me.
Well, I could wait here while you try the door just in case she isn't, his comment started me off again.
Thanks dad if she is can I stay out until midnight I promise I wont drink too much.
It's genuine concern only I ensure you, Eddie held up his hands in defence.
With all the noise one of Maddies lights switched on.. Ah we have life..
Eddie looked up at the newly light room.
Eddie, I quickly spoke his name not wanting this new development to mean a sudden exit.
Yes.
If you wanted to.. I could.. Err, I stammered on hopelessly not wanting to say it.
Molly..
Yep, I swiftly looked up at him.
Is this your round about way of giving me your number? I grinned coyly at him.
Just in case you wanted to keep in touch, he smirked reaching inside his jacket pocket he pulled out his mobile.
I told him my number only to be interrupted by the voice of Maddie calling my name from her window.
Moll is that you? I turned and looked up at her dangling out her bedroom window.
Yeah its me.
Are you coming in, who are you with? I turned back at Eddie and tutted his eyes hadn't moved off mine.
I better let you get inside I'll ring you ok, we smiled at each other.
Look forward to it, we stood in silence just taking each other in one last time. You know your date was stupid not to turn up tonight, I blushed embarrassed by his flattery.
His loss, I choked.
My gain.. He added grinning ... look you better go in your friend looks in danger of falling to her death.
Yes ok well Thank you again, we lent in and kissed each other just slightly off mouth.
Night Eddie, I stepped back and watched as he grinned for the final time before turning and sauntering off down the street.
Once inside Maddie almost pounced on me, Molly Christ! What are you doing?? I placed the bottle of champagne in the living room table and took off my coat.
Hello to you too, she sighed and grabbed my coat.
What happened to Mark?
He was a no show.
Ah ok and what's this? Picking up the champagne she examined it.
A gift from a mystery guy on table six, I sat on the sofa and began to take off my shoes.
Were you talking to who I think you were talking to? I looked up at her and frowned.
You what when? What out there that was Eddie, her mouth flung open aghast.
Yeah I KNOW!.
Huh, I was highly confused.
You do realise who you just kissed don't you? I shrugged.
That was Eddie Izzard, I began to laugh then remembered the taxi guy sniggering at my comedian remark earlier then suddenly it clicked.
How?.. Maddie what have I done, she shrieked in excitement.
Who cares girlfriend he digs you I saw him looking at you, I looked at her and smiled.
We did seem to click but just reassure my sanity here are you sure that was him?
Moll he lives across the street I think I'd know.
Oh Christ he does oh god it was him why the hell didn't I realise?
Molly my darling because you are well you! So shall we crack open this and you can tell me all about your evening, she picked up the bottle and wandered through to her kitchen.
Eddie said it's better chilled, she turned and smirked.
Oh Eddie said did he well in that case in the ice bucket it shall go then I've got some wine I think we should start on that then move on to the hard stuff!?!. I sniggered at her my eyes a glaze still recovering from the subsequent revelation.
I decided to stay over at Maddie’s, the next morning once my head had stopped thumping I got up and dressed.
You know these jeans are really nice, I admired a pair of Maddie’s jeans in the refection from the kitchen window.
Yes I know and you're just borrowing them ok here eat some toast, handing me a piece I sat beside her and munched away.
So you off, I had bundled my belongings into a spare bag and placed them at the front door.
Yeah I need to get back and sort things out at home so..
So are you going to wander across the street to see him, I flung on my coat with a knowing look in my eye.
Maddie I'm not completely insane if he calls then he calls.
Ok.. Not interested to see where he lives its very nice you know, I gave her a kiss on the cheek and picked up my bags.
Yes I'm sure it is see you next week ok, opening the door she stood and waved me off.
Making my way down the street I saw the path which led to the road Eddie lived on, I tried to walk in the opposite direction but my little girlie nosiness wanted to see what it was like.
The houses on this road were stylish proper Notting hill class. Counting the numbers in my head I came to his.Holy crap! I stood and stared it was pure cool my bags and mouth dropped to the floor. All of a sudden a ring echoed from my bag, rivalling through it I found my mobile, "private caller" flashed across the screen answering it my heart skipped a beat.
You know loitering outside someone's house is an arrestable offence, I recognised his voice and couldn't help but grin.
Well, it's a good job I just stopped to answer my phone then, I was impressed by my quick reply, gazing up at various windows I tried to spot him. Y
ou won't find anyone in there? I jumped and turned around Eddie stood clutching his mobile grinning from cheek to cheek.
Ok busted I was just passing and..
Couldn't resist same here, I clicked off my phone and stared at him.
I've just been past your friends house I saw you come out, I nodded.
Ah so really you've been following me?
There was no stalking involved you were walking in this direction so.. ok I was following you, I chuckled.
Its a nice place, we both looked back at his house then at each other.
So do you wanna come in for a drink? My eyes froze.
In your house? I was petrified after Maddie telling me who he was I didn't really know how to be around him, I mean he was famous and I was well me!
Well yeah I mean you could stand out here and I could pass you a cup through the window? he was smirking amused by my demeanour.
I'm sorry you know what I mean its your house I'm just some girl you met on the street, he picked up my bags and wandered past me.
I wouldn't ask if I didn't want you to come on, walking slowly behind him I followed him up some steps to the door.
Here lets take your coat, placing my things on the floor of the hallway he turned to hang up my coat.
So what's your poison? Eddie opened another door which led to the living room/kitchen.
I stood and stared at the surroundings an expensive plasma screen hang on a wall, a Huge leather sofa sat immaculate in the middle of the room.
Molly, he called concerned about my lack of response.
Yep sorry milk no sugar, Eddie's grin grew into small chuckles.
You what are you alright?
Didn't you just ask me how I like my tea? he shook his head.
But if its tea you want then tea it shall be, please take a seat, Eddie went and flicked the kettle on to boil and placed two mugs beside it.Making my way to the sofa I passed some awards and pictures arranged on a table, taking a gulp the reality of who's house I was in hit me again. How do you like your tea strong, weak, medium, Eddie ran through all the variations watching me he could see how nervous I was.
Molly are you ok? Standing my the window I hadn't even made it to the sofa yet I turned and grinned.
Yep yes I'm fine really its just..erm my friend she err, Eddie walked over to me, assertively taking me by the arms he guided me to the sofa and sat me down.
You look terrified I won't bite you know so whatever's on your mind please just say, I scratched my head looking into his eyes I knew he didn't care that I didn't realise who he was, but to me I felt like a dork, in taking a deep breathe I just let it all out.
You're famous and I'm an idiot? Eddie stared oddly at me.
Ok half right I'd say elaborate on the idiot bit who said you were an idiot?
Maddie said..
Maddie said you were an idiot hang on who's Maddie? he was beginning to smirk I was sensing this whole conversation was amusing him something constant.
No Maddie.. Maddie is the friend on across the street she saw you out her window..
Was this before or after she nearly fell to her death?
Eddie you're still talking, sitting back in his seat he watched me struggle on.She recognised you and she was like three metres away at a window it was dark and there was a tree obstructing her view but she still she knew who you were?
Eddie sat forward and rubbed his cheek trying to look serious. Ok I see well if you're looking at it like that then Moll you are an idiot! Hitting him on the arm, I started to laugh.
Thanks you really picked me up there!
What did you think I would say "don't you know who I am" it doesn't bother me you didn't recognise me its cool. I smiled. Just don't do it again people pay good money to be in my company, he playfully patted my leg and got up to make the tea.
So how was the champagne, he asked handing me my tea a few moments later.
It was fabulous, Eddie sat next to me and carefully took a sip from his mug.
Did you chill it first, I frowned at him.
Yes I did are you endorsing this champagne or something? he smirked.
I just wanted to know if you enjoyed your gift that was all, I spat some tea back into the mug.
Your gift?
I bought you the bottle.
You bought it?
Yes.
You're table six guy, Eddie sat forward thinking.
The table I was sitting on last night was table six yes.
You paid my bill, he turned to me and grinned.
Also a yes, I nervously scratched my head again.
A hi can I sit here would have done it you know, Eddie placed his mug on the floor and reached inside his jacket pocket for his cigarettes.
You were waiting for your date I couldn't just sit in his seat till he arrived?
But he stood me up!
I know that now, Eddie continued to light up, blowing smoke into the air he flapped his hands trying to emphasise his point.
Thank you, I chorused.
You're very welcome, he nudged my side with his and grinned.
So the whole nearly knocking you out did the trick then? Eddie flicked some ash into a pot in front of him.
It certainly got my attention.
Well its something to tell the grand kids, Eddie swung over a worried glare.
Is this your grand kids? my grand kids? our grand kids?
Who ever anyone's its just a good story to tell I remember the day I was..
Picked up, Eddie added smirking.
You're not gonna let that go are you? he turned and shook his head.
You practically fell at my feet that's too good to miss.
I was wearing heels please you of all people should sympathise with that, Eddie slurped some more tea.
Yeah normally I could but you were walking across a straight road there were no humps or bumps.
Ah but I didn't trip I.. I.. what the hell did I do all I remember is seeing your face looking down at me with complete disbelief.
I have no idea I certainly didn't expect to see you especially not in a heap on the road glad I did though, I looked at him and smiled he was certainly full of compliment it was nice something I hadn't been used to in a while.
Teas nice, I decided to say something random as the silence was awkward for me, being in his house was weird enough without being stared at by those eyes.
You're a little freaked by me aren't you, Eddie maneuvered himself to face me and waited for my reply.
No not freaked exactly.
Intimidated, I smirked he was gonna reel off suggestions till he came to the right one I could tell.
Nervous, uncomfortable?
Eddie you talk too much you do realise this don't you? he grinned.
Its a force of habit comes with the job, I raised my eyebrow.
You're one of these people who will talk and talk and not really know what there talking about?
Ah so you do know my work, he sniggered.
I'm not freaked, intimidated, nervous or uncomfortable around you ok, I took another sip of drink consciously stopping myself going into a strange rant.
There's definitely something though, he tilted his head trying to determine what it could be.
You're doing it again!
What? Eddie stubbed out his cigarette and sat back in his subsequent position.
Talking, he looked over at me and frowned.
But I'm not saying anything?
Yes you are in your head you're analysing little pieces of information trying to figure out what it is I'm feeling, he gazed into my eyes and grinned.
You're intriguing you know this right? I placed my cup on the table in front of me then looked back at Eddie.
Snap! he pulled a face.
Is that it, I jiffled in my seat.
You're one of these people who could chat about their life for an entire day and at the end of it I still wouldn't know the first thing about you?
Eddie nodded.
This is deep guess I'm not the only one who's been talking to themselves hey?
Guess not, we both watched each other trying to read the others expression, the silence was broken by his phone ringing.
Saved by the bell excuse me a sec, getting up he wandered through to the hallway. I picked up my mug and his as he'd emptied it and placed it in the sink.
A small plate and knife with remnants of butter on it lay beside the draining board, all small snippets of his life all seemingly normal and mundane. There were notes attached to the fridge door, and the milk lay with its lid off beside the kettle. Placing back its top I carefully opened the fridge and set it inside the door, Eddie returned and watched my clearing away his things.
You know there's some washing in the machine if you wanted to hang it out? I turned and grinned.
Just doing my bit your milk will go off if it isn't put away, he wandered over to me.
Sour milk never good well your consideration is duly noted.
Is there sarcasm in your voice, Eddie placed a hand over his chin and pretended to think.
Isn't there always, so are you going? he asked leaning on the worktop next to me.
I thought I better you've probably got things to do.
People to see actually no but I do need to sort some things out for tonight,
I made a face.
Ah got a date, Eddie smirked.
Yes if you're free? I stared at him suprised I was in shook he was good a very smooth worker.
No pressure if you'd rather wait leave it a while its ok.
No no I mean yes I'm free, Eddie straightened up.
Great pick you up about 8?
Ok from mine do you want my address? Eddie grinned and slid over and pen and pad that lay next to him.I started writing the address Eddie leaned over and watched..
I thought it safer just picking you up knowing your luck with taxis, I looked up at him and sniggered.
Ha ha I'm fine with taxis its finding them I have a problem with anyway Im new so I'm aloud to be lost and stupid for a while. I ripped off the piece of paper from the pad and handed it over to him.
Greenwich nice area, Eddie read from the paper taking in the address and I'm sure working out directions in his head.
So see you in nine hours? I placed the pen and pad back on the side and waited for Eddie to show me out. Standing at the door I turned to face him.
Thanks for the tea, Eddie nodded smiling.
No problem see you later then, he leaned over and kissed me just slightly off mouth again, now I wasn't sure if his aims were just sloppy or he wanted to slip me the tongue either way he would have to wait till tonight to do it again.
Ok bye then, I stepped down to the pathway Eddie stood tall in his doorway watching me intently.
The rest of the day seem to fly by after numerous phone calls from friends and family all eager to find out about me and Eddie, Maddie obviously having trouble with the whole "promise me you won't tell anyone" line! Sifting through my wardrobe I pondered upon what to wear, now I wasn't a big fashion freak I knew what suited me but I wasn't really one who went shopping for pleasure! I had laid out a few outfits on the bed then had a bath and washed my hair, after opening some wine and putting on some music I felt more prepared. Ok so you've narrowed it down to three so what are we going for slut on a night out or mother on a night in? I was rambling to myself desperately trying to figure out what to wear. Oh for Christ sake just put something on! screaming to myself in the nude I was glad the curtains were closed! It was nearly quarter to eight and I had yet to find even a bra, staring at the outfits then at the clock I was running out of time.
Suddenly the doorbell rang, he was early HE WAS EARLY! Panic and terror ran through my limbs rushing to the door I went to open it only to slam it shut again.
Molly! is there a password needed here? Eddie spoke from the other side of the door.
I'm not dressed I nearly opened the door to you in the nude, Eddie was chuckling.
Well I'm ok with that, I opened the door a crack and peered through.
I'm not, Eddie grinned looking down the door frame trying to catch a glimpse.
Oh my god you are! I jumped back hoping I hadn't just flashed myself at him.
Ok I'm going to leave the door like this give me a few seconds to run then you can come in, Eddie listened smirking.
Ok a few seconds one, two.. he started to count so I took the opportunity and ran back into the bedroom.
Eddie couldn't resist once he saw me turn he crept in and saw my backside wobble into another room, one for the memory banks he thought smiling.
Taking off his jacket he sat down on the couch and surveyed the room, it was cute he thought studying a picture beside him he felt comfortable at ease in her surroundings.
Sorry about that you didn't see anything I hope, I came through from the bedroom I had quickly dressed myself in black trousers and an off the shoulder purple top.
Eddie looked up, No no, he was smirking.
Oh god you didn't see me did you, did you?
No, I placed my hands on my hips unconvinced..
ok I may have caught sight of your bottom but its ok, he was laughing now.
Oh god Eddie you saw my arse I haven't even seen my arse, he stood up and grabbed hold of my arms bringing me closer he snuck a quick kiss on my cheek.
You have a nice arse, don't worry I'll show you mine later, turning he ignored my shocked expression and picked up his jacket.
So you ready now, putting on his jacket he hoped the new additions of clothes meant that I was.
Yes nearly just need my shoes and coat, I quickly grabbed a pair from beside the door and put them on, grabbing my coat and bag Eddie opened the door.
After you.
Thank you so where are we off to somewhere with food cause I'm starving by the way!
Eddie held open the door which led to the exit outside and grinned, waiting in front of us was a chauffeur all tarted out in hat and suit holding open a door to a limo!
I turned back at Eddie, Let me guess this is your weekend car?
Something like that well hop in, greeting the chauffeur with a smile I got in.
I bet you get this out for all the girls, Eddie sat next to me and smirked.
Only the ones I want to impress drink? Pulling out some champagne from the side he handed me a glass. The champagne cork popped and flew across the air, pouring some out Eddie lifted up his glass for a toast. Here's for a memorable evening cheers, clanging glasses we sat back and watched the streets go by, I could feel Eddies stare on my face turning I met his gaze.
The view from your window not doing it for you?
I've seen it all before besides the view from my seat is doing it better! I sipped some more drink embarrassed by his comment.
You've gone quiet your silence is worrying me what's on your mind Miss Taylor? Preparing himself for a lengthy discussion Eddie rested his elbow on the back seat and nestled his chin in his hand.
There are lots of things on my mind.
Any you care to disclose, his eyes were locked on mine with a serious look, even if the question was meant with only concern.
Shall I just reel them off some are quite irrelevant.
Quite irrelevant I'm interested already keep going!
Ok these are in no particular order in any reference of importance just words! Eddie nodded decisively.
Taking a big swig of champagne I begun.. Why did you invite me out tonight?, where are we going?, are you wearing ladies underwear?, Eddie sniggered.
I see what you mean about quite irrelevant?
There's more.
Ok you're on a roll carry on sorry for the interruption, Eddie took a sip of his drink and shuffled in his seat.
Why do you always kiss me just slightly off mouth?, did my bum look too big for my body?, did I fed the cat? and are you carrying lipstick in your pocket?
Eddie stared at me his slightly bemused expression formed into a grin.
Ok finished?
I've got a few more circulating but it all depends upon your response, Eddie covered his face with his hand and started to chuckle.
That's a pretty varied selection of thoughts no wonder you were quiet, still chuckling Eddie took a sip of drink to calm himself.
Ok my response is in no particular order or reference of importance, I looked at him and smiled relieved that I hadn't completely freaked him out!
Lipstick in my pocket not tonight no its usually carried in my bag along with other transvestite like materials, the underwear thing again not tonight, I can't help you out with the whole cat feeding thing, ok what else was there yes your bottom now I'm not an expert but proportion wise yours was well normal, I frowned.
Normal?
You've got a nice arse ok can I continue? he took my sniggers as a yes! Where was I so yeah why did I ask you out why did I? maybe I'm just attracted to mad insane woman who think way too much! Maybe it's your silences that say more about you than your quite irrelevancies ever will or maybe it's the look in your eyes that propels my senses into overdrive!
Overdrive not overkill?!? Eddie flashed a knowing look in my eyes.
Anything I've missed? he knew he had but he enjoyed my awkwardness. The kissing thing? Ah the kissing thing I dunno maybe my aims are just sloppy, he was smirking even if his look was suggesting something else?Full of maybes tonight aren't you? We both felt ourselves edging closer to each other. Definitely Maybes, Eddie managed to mutter his comeback line before cheerfully locking his lips onto mine.
